What can be done with a vintage tea towel, imagination and a little time....I spotted this on an auction site, having looked up on Google what exactly Magnetic Island was, I just had to get it. When it arrived it very nearly stayed a tea towel, for a vintage piece it was in great condition and as you can see, the colours were awesome. I up-cycled a pair of denim jeans for the back and the lining was cream linen. Every now & then I see it being used around the Island...such a nice feeling...x
There were so many pictures on the tea towel, I appliqued the
Koala on the back....aaaaaaa.......
A darling friend moved to Melbourne and had no space for thisstunning, retro 1970's duvet cover, so she handed it down to me.
This bag sold the same weekend it went out to market, to a couple
and their family from Hawaii...What a well travelled bag :-)
